Oregon Athletics
Who: Oregon Athletics, commonly known as the Oregon Ducks, compete in the NCAA Division I level, primarily in the Pac-12 Conference. The university fields teams in a wide range of sports, including football, basketball, track and field, baseball, softball, soccer, volleyball, and more. Oregon Athletics has a storied history, particularly in football and track and field, and has produced numerous successful athletes and teams over the years.
What: As a communications intern for the Athletics Department, our main goal as a team is to promote the famous "O" Brand and publicize all 17 varsity sports at the University of Oregon. In August 2021, I joined the communications team as an intern facilitating press conferences and interviews, creating content for social media and the official GoDucks website, transcribing post-game Interviews, creating content for media guides, record books, and flip cards using Photoshop and InDesign, and assisting with in-game operations
